For those of you who may or may not know, Morris Marina Ferry service has been patiently waiting for the National Park Service to open up the new cabins on North Core Banks, Portsmouth Island. Much of our business relies on cabin rentals to transport customers over to the island. We were told by the NPS that they would be open for the 2026 season. We have just been informed that they WILL NOT be open for the 2026 season, directly affecting our business negatively for yet another year.

With that being said, in order for us to serve you and continue operating our ferry business, we will be running on a limited schedule this year. Our times and days will vary during the 2026 season. Therefore, we can not post a set schedule online. You must call the office for available dates and times to make a reservation . We are sorry for any inconvenience to our customers.
